Activities

The Space covered by the Airbnb rate basically is the 2-level Bahay-Kubo, with free access to the Toilet & Bath facility and the Lake.

The rest of the Spaces that the Guests can also access are:

1. The Garden Deck - This is a compact space with green-grass Garden Deck located on top of the Toilet & Bath building. It is ideal for a tranquil early morning (or late night) meditations or simple yoga, spa, massage activities that can be conducted alone or with a partner. It also features an overhead Rainwater Collector Cistern intended for alternative flushing of the Water Closet and Urinal below and at the same time to provide extra water supply for watering plants or washing automobile tires. Only on special occasion, there's an option to use this Cistern as a mini-Pool!

2. Dirty Kitchen - A place to prepare food and cook or heat food. The electric cooking equipment here is an induction type hence it can only use specific cooking wares such as stainless steel pots and pans. But since the theme is Camping, it is more enjoyable if you'll cook food the "Scouts" way using coal or firewood. Also available here are mini oven and rice cooker, but no refrigerator. Note: You have to bring your own cooler and buy your own ice supply that can be bought along the way or in some variety stores nearby. In front and around the Dirty Kitchen is a Garden of Herbs and Spices. Feel free to get some!

3. BBQ Deck - Camping isn't really fun without grilling something, especially that the Camp Site is surrounded by a Lake. Grill freshly caught Black Bass or Tilapia, or chunks of meat even Cara-Beef, the experience of grilling in a Camping is really exciting. The BBQ grilling pit is complete with ample supply of charcoal. Beside the pit is a Deck for Dining or for Booze-Bonding. Anyway, BBQ is better with some bottles of beer!

4. Dap-ayan Bonfire - You'll find 12 big boulders (configured circular like a clock) functioning as a Dap-ayan here surrounding a Bonfire pit situated on an elevated green grass covered ground. Camping is not complete without a bonding moment in front of a Bonfire. Hey, how about toasting marshmallows? While feeling the warmth of the Bonfire, we have an acoustic guitar that can be played while the rest of the gang sing their hearts out!

5. Covered Lounge - You can't always stay inside the tents for shelter during the entire camping -- you'll also need a common covered shed where you can interact with other Campers. The Covered Lounge is that perfect place. It doesn't only provide shade against the heat of the sun, it also serve as shelter from the rain. But aside from its basic function, you'll be delighted to see what's in there. There's a swinging suspended bamboo bed ("papag") where you can lie down, perhaps read a book, and relax; and a pair of swinging suspended bamboo benches with matching long bamboo table. You'll also notice a pair of net hammocks suspended at the side. And you have the option either to hang up more native hammock (rattan "duyan") on the opposite side or to add extra reclining canvas chairs or folding beds instead. The activity in this Covered Lounge is not always to do something -- the better activity here is just to lie down relaxed and to do nothing.

6. Camp Café - In the morning, this al fresco deck is a cool place to sip a hot cup of coffee. At the same time, you can read a book or enjoy the view of the surrounding lake. In the evening, this same place can transform to become a perfect place to stage mini gigs, like acoustic jam sessions. Why not experience being a Rockstar just for a night? We both have an acoustic and an electric guitar complete with amplifiers, wireless microphones, speakers and sound system. We also have a bamboo amplifier dock where you can place your iPhone and play your favorite music. So bring out the ice-cold drinks, have some rounds of shots while listening to the music, and everyone will surely enjoy the night away!

7. Camping Grounds - There are two (2) Camping Grounds to setup your tents: 1) Internal - within the fenced compound for a more secured camping (ideally accommodates 5 big tents or 8 small tents); 2) External - near the lake shore (can accommodate up to a hundred tents or more).

8. Floating Cottage - If you want to swim in the Lake, the bamboo Floating Cottage is just the perfect place. Yes, you can dive deep into the Lake from here. This is a nice place too to catch fish using our Fishing Rod. Or, you can use our Rubber Boat, paddle and explore the other parts of the Lake. The Floating Cottage is a "Bahay-Kubo" on top of a floating bamboo raft, so you can also have a boodle-fight picnic in here after swimming.
